Mario Spinola joined Principia Capital Partners in December 2017. Previously he was a founding partner of Victoria Capital Partners and DLJ South American Partners based in São Paulo. In 1996, Mr. Spinola joined Banco Garantia, after working in private equity and M&A with International Venture Partners and Capitaltec Consultoria Econômica for four years. During his 10-year tenure with Banco Garantia and Credit Suisse, Mr. Spinola was responsible for the execution and monitoring of private equity investments in TAM Linhas Aéreas, América Latina Logística and NET Serviços. Mr. Spinola received a degree in civil engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Spinola currently serves on the board of Cellera Farma and LPS Brasil, having previously served on the boards of Damásio Educacional, Grupo Technos, América Latina Logística, Brazil Trade Shows and TAM Linhas Aéreas.
Gabriel Poci joined Principia Capital Partners in 2021.
Previously, Gabriel worked at Treecorp Investments, where he contributed to the execution and monitoring of the private equity investments Zee.Dog and Zul Digitall.
Gabriel holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and has also attended the Amsterdam Business School.
Before joining Treecorp, Gabriel worked at Itaú Asset Management in the area of Private Credit.
Antonio started his internship at Principia Capital Partners in January 2023. Previously, he had interned at the Brazilian office of Compass Group in the Credit & Equity Research area, where he performed analyses of companies in the retail and healthcare sectors.
Additionally, Antonio is a business administration student at Insper and was one of the college’s representatives in the 2021 CFA Research Challenge. He also has previous experience in other financial market companies, having participated in summer internships throughout his academic trajectory.
